56K SoftModem USB

I got a Wytek 56K SoftModem USB on Slack 9.0
The Chipset is a rebuilded SGS Thomson Microelectronics
If you take a look here: http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php?id=1944 you can see that modem is unsupported.
lsusb find:
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0483:7554 SGS Thomson Microelectronics 56k SoftModem

First...someone got this type of modem working??

...or is there a possibility to make it work in other ways??
