56k modems in suse 9.1 personal

I am looking for a v.92 56k modem to use on suse 9.1. I currently have a Best Data 56HP92 Internal PCI Modem, but Suse dosen't recognize it. Does anyone knows of drivers for this modem or another modem that is definately compaitible, I would appriciate any help. I have been looking online for weeks.

Any external modem is compatible. Because it's hardware. Any internal ISA modem is compatible. Because it's hardware. Some select internal PCI modems are compatible(high end USRobotics). Because they are hardware.

Cheap 10 dollar winmodems need windows .dll's and your cpu to actually translate the data which the modem is supposed to do. Some of these modems are compatible- most are not. Check http://www.linmodems.org/ for a list of drivers and what is and isn't going to work.
