3dlabs VP990 pro Linux drivers?

Looking for drivers for my 3dlabs vp990. Got this reply from 3dlabs:

"3D Labs did not release Linux support for the VP series of cards. The only company that did this was XI Graphics, XXX.xig.com/index.html.
These are pay per drivers but are the only drivers for the VP card in linux that exist."

Was at their site but it seemed I had to buy a whole system to get the drivers :(

Anyone knows if there downloadable drivers anywhere for my card.

Thnx in Advance.

Ps.Also Need to know what linux distrib. works best for these drivers (if they exist) Planning to run Maya 7.0 and Apple Shake, may e XSI also.

Rest of my Hardware. Tyan 2466mpx MB. 1 GB RAM Dual AMD 1800 MP

We should all boycott buying any of their products since they won't support linux users..........there are better graphics cards out there !!
