2nd SATA in kernel 2.6.5-1.315

All,

I am currently running the above kernel in conjunction with fedora test 1.9.

I have a promise SATA 150 TX2 PLUS. All runs well with a SATA disk as boot device...

However the SATA card has a (P)ATA connector as well.

The problem is that any drive connected to the PATA port is not registrered in fedora....

DMESG shows that only the controller and the first disk are recognised....

how did you get it do use the sata drives in the first place? i cant for the love of me. did you use the red hat drivers? im running knopix (hdd install) and want to be able to get to my 2 sata hdds but i cant get it to work. im running the 2.6.6 kernel.how do i load the drivers? all the drivers i download from the promise site wont run
