penguinview LQ Newbie Registered: Mar 2003 Posts: 17 Rep:	2 sound cards I would like to get two sound cards working in my Mandrake 9.1 box. It has onboard sound on a Gigabyte GA8IE533 with AC97 sound and a Sound Blaster Live Value. My Goal is to record sound into two different programs at the same time. One program (mpeg4ip) only supports OSS and not ALSA the other program I want to use is gnoise, to record .wav format. My Sound Blaster works great, It is the AC97 that I can not get to work. TIA
