2 GB RAM not detecting


Hi,

I have installed a 2GB ram in red-hat linux9 . But even after fresh installation the OS is not detecting the 2 GB RAM. Pls advice as to what command i should use.

You must recompile your kernel with support for high memory.
In the 2.6.12.5 kernel the choice would be: CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G=y
