2.6.0-test11 no system beeps
 

i just installed the 2.6.0-test11 kernel on my fujitsu laptop and got everything set up nicely, aside from wireless. the problem, is that i no longer have system beeps. when i insert a pcmcia card, nothing. i DO have sound though, using an nm256av chip with the ac97 drivers forced on. sound quality isnt the best, but i cant expect too much from this machine.
