16GB RAM -Kernel support

Dear all

I would like to have 16GB RAM, and linux running on it, i would like to know
which Linux distribution and kernel version supports 16gb RAM, which HARDWARE , ie 32bit, or 64bit server should be employed. Please Suggest me.

Redhat Distrbution which supports 16GB RAM or any other distribution ?
Whether to use 32bit or 64 bit which support 16gb RAM.

Regards
Niranjan

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
