1400 * 1050 on DELL 510m

I am not able to swith the screen resolution of my DELL 510m to 1400 *
1050 (best resolution 1024*768). I use Mandrake 10.0

I have installed a 855patch on this ... but there is a kind of
scrolling when I set the resolution to 1400*1050. There is no
scrolling by the way for that resolution under XP.

How can I solve this problem?

I have downloaded a patch and install it ...
it works very well. You can find it here :
Hope this will help...
