128MB NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti4200
Does anyone know if the 128MB NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti4200 works with linux, or are there any known problems with it?

Should since Nvidida has released drivers for linux for their cards, I have a Gforce 4 Mx 420 and it runs perfectly well in linux.

You already asked this one in your original hardware question as well, where you got replies stating you shouldn't have any problems. Is there a need for you to ask these again? This is double posting, please follow the rules we have on this site you agreed to when registering.

Go to NVidia's site and download the 3123 versions. I have this card and linux looks sweet!! There are instructions on the net!

Same goes for me. Installation went fine.
I got Unreal Tournament going and it is smoother than Windows. Though I only play against the bots.

Hmm, yeah, I tried the latest drivers and the machine would go into X, but I would get no display. Odd. I am trying to go back to the 3123 drivers, but I can't get rid of the new ones...
