128 meg flash card, ide-cs.o not found?

Using slackware 9.1, I have the cardmanager working and the laptop (IBM T21) beeps when I remove or install the card. However, I have no idea how how to mount or access the compactflash card. I noticed that modprobe fails with ide-cs.o. I have searched on google and here for that but nothing useful. Im using kernel 2.4.22 as well. Maybe I dont have something in my kernel that I need for ide-cs.o?
