10 gigabit HBA/switch
The selection of media type for 10 gigabit ethernet is pretty large. Looking at 10GBase-SR, 10GBase-T and 10GBase-CX4 as primary canidates for a low-cost iSCSI network.
The costs vary, depending on the gbic or DAC cabling, etc.
Would like some advice from folks who have implemented small iSCSI networks on 10GBase on which brands, media type and switches make a good combination that is cost effective.
