[Help!!!] Dell SC420 SATA HD problem with FC3

Dear Experts,

I am new to Linux, I have a Dell SC420 with 2 x SATA HD. I tried to install FC3 and also CentOS 3.3. However, both failed to detect the harddisk. I wonder if it is driver issue.

Please advise what can I do to install the 2 x SATA HD ( I want to run RAID 1)

thx thx thx

Eric

I posted a simular question on Friday and have had no replies yet.

I tried to install Mandrake 9.2 on the same server, with simular results to you.

How ever I was able to Install Mandrake 10.1 with out a problem.

Yes it appears to be lack of driver support?

Greg
