*BAD*gran_size: < what does this mean?

This has been showing up in dmesg
Code:
0.000662] gran_size: 64K chunk_size: 8M num_reg: 10 lose cover RAM: 230M
[ 0.000663] gran_size: 64K chunk_size: 16M num_reg: 10 lose cover RAM: 230M
[ 0.000664] *BAD*gran_size: 64K chunk_size: 32M num_reg: 10 lose cover RAM: -26M
[ 0.000664] *BAD*gran_size: 64K chunk_size: 64M num_reg: 10 lose cover RAM: -16M
and the info I've found says it's to do with "Memory Type Range Register" and the only fix I found was something using "mtrr-sanitizer"

Does anybody have more info on this? Conflicting stories -confusion reigns.

A web search for "*BAD*gran_size" turned up this thread from stackexchange should help: https://unix.stackexchange.com/quest...sector-or-chip
