Zen Touch not picked in GNOAMD2 as User

Hi

I own a Creativ Zen Touch (20GB),which I succesfuly use with Gnomad2. But it only works if i am loged in as "root". As normal user the ZEN is not picked.
I thought about the fstab, but i remembered that I do not have to mount it... what can i do?
[I use Debian 3.1a]
