yum problem of installing kernel package

halo.... I faced a problem of installation problem for kernel package by using "yum" in fedora core 2, 2.6.5-1.358

When i typed " yum install kernel-devel " the error messageg shown in terminal as below :

[kokchin@localhost kokchin]$ yum install kernel-devel
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
Server: Fedora Core 2 - i386 - Base
Error - /var/cache/yum/base/ cannot be found
Please ask your sysadmin to update the headers on this system.

Did anyone know why?

I suspect that the problem is either with the mirror that you are using, or the URL for it in your configuration. Can you install other Base packages OK?
