coolamit78 Member Registered: Aug 2003 Location: New Delhi, India Distribution: RHEL AS 3/4, Windows XP Posts: 546 Rep:	Yamaha OPL3 SAX Sound issue Hi....I have just upgraded from RH 8.0 to RH 9 today...I have a query... I have the Yamaha OPL3 SA3 soundcard using Yamaha OPL3 Sax WDM driver in Windows. Although RH 8/9 detect the soundcard...but I was not able to find a driver for this particulat model. For the time being, my audio-video needs r being filfilled by the Yamaha OPL3 SA2 driver that linux has. However, I would like to know if there is any driver available for OPL3 SA3 sound board. At this point, I am not too much aware of the ALSA and OSS drivers....and the process of installation...it looks quite complicated to me..... So can my problem be solved easily or I have no other choice but to start exploring the ALSA site?? Pls help...
