Xrandr crtc0 error, not switching resolution

I'm running Picuntu 4.5 on a MK808B Android stick. I followed these instructions to get the Mali drivers running, and it does run the GUI, but I can't change resolution. The stock apps for changing it have 1920x1080 among the ones I can select, but if I do they don't actually change it. When I try manually with xrandr I get a brief flicker and an error. Sometimes the taskbar gets extended past the limit of the actual screen, but other than that nothing changes.

Xrandr verbose report

Xrandr attempt to switch and error

Xorg.conf

Xorg.0.log

I don't know where I'm going wrong. Can you spot any obvious mistakes?

Hi
Can you post what xrandr commands you're using? Most times 3 iterations of xrandr commands are required = newmode, addmode, and output.

I did; they're in the "attempt to switch and error" pastebin, first line. The 1920x1080 mode is already present as seen in the verbose report, I try to switch to it but it fails.

I'm afraid at this point I'm grasping at basic straws. I know almost nothing about the MK808 but a little that I've read (seems cool). I just have a fair bit of experience with hinky monitors with less than compliant EDID that I often have to jump through hoops to get to display properly. I would guess that you've already researched your monitor to know it's requirements and capabilities at given ports, so all I can is wish you good luck.
