Hi everyone, I recently downloaded XINE in the hope that I could play some DVDs on my mandrake 7.2 system. I have read that DVD is not supported in the 2.2.x kernals and a patch is needed. I am relatively new to Linux and I was wondering if patching the kernal is necessary as I don't have a clue how I would go about this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
