Ximian Evolution wont apply rules/filters!!
Hi .
This is a really silly problem. I have RH. 8.0 and I really like the Ximian Evolutiuon email program. I have multiple email pop accounts and I set up two simple filters to classify email received form the two email accounts. However, the filters just wont work! Even the Apply Filters option doesnt help. Any suggestions? :newbie: |
With mine, I have to "Select All" messages first, then click "Apply Filters".
To be sure I got the filter rules working , I used the "Tools, Create Filter from Message" option, then added a shortcut to the destination folder in the left sidebar. |
As the above person mentioned, if trying to filter messages manually make sure to select the ones you want to filter.
The reason messages are problem not being automatically filtered is you don't have the "Appyl filters to new messages in INBOX on the server" option checked. |
