xhost problem


Hello,

xhost + works fine with DISPLAY set to :0.0. However, it fails when its value is set to hostname:0.0. As such, X server access is denied on remote logins. Can any one help please?

Here are some links to documents on the subject of using xhost. From what you have posted here, it seems that you just need to pass some additional information to xhost, as described in these documents.
