Question

I am tring to get X up and running but I can't get the vidio card set up right, redhat 7 came with a X server for my s3Savage4 card and it uses the standard svga driver, but when I start X every thing is garbled, if I force it to repaint the screen (click on log out button and then cancel or even open and close any application that uses the whole screen) it clears up until I try to scroll on text or move any thing on the desktop. the vga driver used in the graphical install did the same thing when insalling. thanks

The latest X has a savage driver that supports the Savage4 chipset.
