X Resolution - DPI
Hi,
I've set my Gnome's and X resolution to 96x96 DPI. I set the Gnome resolution through the control panel. For X, I've modified /usr/X11/bin/startx and added -dpi 96 to the server args. I've also edited xorg.conf (Display Size) to match the desired DPI (I'm using a 1280x800 screen size, so I set the number to DisplaySize 340 210, which gives a 95x96 DPI when I type xdpyinfo | grep resolution).
Everything seems to work fine. But sometimes resolution switches out of this range (it want to 75x92 DPI) after a system hibernation (suspend to disk). If I reboot, everything gets back to normal.
Any idea how to make sure the DPI remains always at 96. I'm using Suse 10 w/ Gnome.
