Red face X get crash


Hi ,
I am sandeepp.
I am ussing redhat linux 9.0.
my X get crashed.
so i have reconfigured it with redhat-config-xfree86.
after that whenever i try to start X display with command startx its giving blank display with cursor which we can move. it is not going ahead of it at all.
i have alo removed XFree86Congfig file from /etc/X11 and reconfigured everything ,still the problem persist.
help me out pls...........

HI...
I guess you need to start KDE or GNOME whichever you would use by giving either kdm or gdm at the prompt.
