Hey fade2black06,

Lets watch our language. I am getting tired of editing so much, my hand got tired after that one. And the language goes for anyone else too. This is a public forum anyone can read. I am sure most people don't come here to read F this and F that.

Sorry for the inconvience of others as I tried to warn them not to start any more crap and just help you out.

Lets be civil here people. I have already had to close two other threads just to stop the nonsense.
I don't like to close threads but its necessary when things get out of hand.

Thank you.
Your General-Linux Moderator.

Well the way I see it is this. Either answer his questions if you know the answer or don't and go on to the next thread.

If you think he is trolling, then ignore him and go on to the next thread. We don't need to start anything at all with anyone.

If people go around doing that, just to get ay type of responses out of us, that is how they are winning that little game. I don't care if he is or not. If the troller or whoever does something like that will leave if they are ignored. If they ask legit questions and respond to them then that's great.

That is all. We don't need to respond to this. Either answer the questions or move on from here.

Thank you. Now lets all be happy.

fade2black06,

none of this was pointed at you in anyway, it was a general statement about anyone who does troll. and the people who get frustrated and feel they need to respond to someone if they feel tey are trolling.

Since you are new to linux I would consider getting something like a Mandrake, RH 7.0 or higher, or Caldera. These comanies have put more into supporting hardware to get you up and running with less configuration. That way you can be functional and start learning from there.

With what hardware you described, on RH web site almost all is supported.

Slackware is for the Seasoned linux user. get the basics down, and then try using it.

Cheers.

Thanks to everyone. Never thought I would have to close so many threads in a certain amount of days. Keep up the good work.

That was my sarcastic remark for the day.
