hello room!
I would like to know if anyone has installed asterisk, because I got this error message during the installation.
I am using suse server9

"cvs checkout: authorization failed: server origcvs.digium.com rejected access to /usr/cvsroot for user anoncvs
cvs checkout: used empty password; try "cvs login" with a real password"

you did not provide an URL to the project you are having problems with,
but I think it is this one: http://www.asterisk.org/index.php?menu=download

As described there, the anoncvs password is "anoncvs".

As I quote from you Post:

You tried to authenticate with an empty password.
Please use the password givven in the installation documentation, it should work then.

Try the CVS with the real password.
