.wma decoder
Does anyone know of a command line based .wma decoder and possibly a .wma encoder.
I've tried mplayer, but I can't successfully get it to work. I'm also looking for a .ra decoder/encoder, any ideas on that as well? Thanks in advance. |

the path you need to install the codecs is /usr/lib/win32. Xine and Mplayer usually search that path for codecs by default, unless you state otherwise.

it had a commented out .usr/src/win32 though. |
o.k.
I got mplayer to decode .wma and .ra files, but I can't get it to encode either. I got the codecs installed, so I guess the problem I have is that I can't figure out what to type as the command to get it to call upon these codecs and encode the files. Does anyone know what I should use for the command? thanks |

Thanks, but to my knowledge, mencoder only deals with video files. I couldn't find anything on .wma or .ra ... only .wmv and .rv.
