winkey mapped to multiple character input
 

i noticed one day while coding and using a lot of -> that because of my keyboards shape i was constantly typing -< by accident. I have the winkeys and was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to map the winkey so that when i press that key once it displays the two characters ->

I have slackware 9.1, gnome 2.4, XFree86 4.3.0

any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated, thanks.
