Wine not working. Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server


I am trying to run emule via wine on my Suse 9.0 distribution, when I try to run it i get the following...

fixme:win32:PE_CreateModule Load Configuration directory ignored
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

x11drv: Can't open display: :0.0

Can any one help me?

yah give up on it and just install Lmule if you really want to use a *mule client ...
there is no point in running any p2p app with wine as there are more than enough available in linux ...
for instance here is a list of a couple hundred projects
and gIFT is probably the most recommended of all

as of your error, it sounds like either :
a) you are logged in as normal user, and you opened a terminal and logged in as root and try to run it
b) vice versa pertaining to the above ..
