windows driver wifi install

i am trying to figure out how to install my wifi driver on my laptop. it used to be running vista now i have linux any one know what i need to do?

Welcome to LQ What distribution are you running, which laptop is it and which wireless card do you have? For the final question, open a terminal and type in lspci. Copy and paste in the wireless card entry.

For example, mine is
02:03.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
