WindowMaker - adding to docking clip

Am running SuSE 9.0 and decided to go back to WindowMaker. Having trouble adding StarOffice 6.0 to docking clip. It opens ok but there is no icon to drag to the clip. It is also not listed on the popup menu. Thanks in advance!

Try right-clicking with mouse on the titlebar of the window, choosing properties...

I used WindowMaker sometime ago so i don't exactly remember but there should be option that hides icons and that tells the windowmaker not to show window on the pop-up menu.

Or you can try docking some other icon and in settings type run command for star office...

(don't know if you understand it so:
right click on the newly docked icon and choose settings, a pop-up window appears, type star office in run command field, or any other command needed for running office)

Hope this helps...

Thanks! Tried the second one (opening another app, etc). That one was so simple it left me banging my head against the wall muttering "I can't believe I didn't think of that!!'

Make a dock with some X-Windows program and then once you dock it, change the parameters to where StarOffice is sitting. For example:

Steps:
Dock The Gimp
Change the parameters of The Gimp dock icon to the location of StarOffice

... I sound like I'm repeating myself, but I wanted to make sure it was clear to you.
