Will SuSE 10.1 work an this SUN?

Hi all,

I am thinking of buying a SUN X4100. They say SuSE ES 9 will work, but I don't want that, rather I want to use SuSE 10.1.

Seems to me it would be compatible, but I wonder what the experts here think...

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Chris

It's neither supported by Sun, nor by Novell, so it may work but you are on your own.
You may consider running Solaris on that box too.

Thought about it, but I haven't played with Solaris in eons and it really wouldn't be prudent for me. Thanks for the reply!
