when 386's were the new technology, they must have been useable for something. I still rember using a 386 when it was a few years old. get a tv and vcr, put in a movie, and wait.

lets see,

downloading from a bbs. sending a fax, print a file, send email with your 9600 Baud modem.

run some software that had a purpose. (surely obsolete by now)

123 was king.

xtree gold was on everything. (for lazy people)

imaging what you could do with a gigantic 40 MB hard drive, and a whoping 8MB of extended memory if you were rich enough to afford it.
