why xterm creates a new user

Hi

Why is there a new user for every xterm I launch? Ex. if there are 3 xterm's open, there are 3 users. One on pts/0, second on pts/2 ...)
I've tried using:
xterm +ls

but it doesn't help.
Is that normal???

Thank you in advance

Yes, that is normal because they are actually opening up new sessions each time a new xterm is opened.

If this concerns you, maybe some intricate setup of 'screen' sessions could be used? :)

Cool
