why we can't change the block size in ext2 filesystem in source code


hi,
i'm trying to change the block size in ext2/ext3 fs...by doing this i can extend the file size..the default bs =4096.

how can we chnage the block size in this ...

AFAIK currently block size can't be bigger than page size. For most architectures page size is 4K, so that's the limit.

Also, changing block size would not change maximum file size in any way.
