hi everybody,
i am newbei in linux platform pl. any body suggest me that,
how can i get all help i.e. man of all command in linux.
is ther any clue for me.
i search for man where all help is in linux but i did not find that help(man)
fol all command.
There isn't such a page. If you look at /bin, /usr/bin and at /sbin and /usr/sbin (careful with the last two) you'll see most of the commands. There should be manpages for pretty much all of these.
If you search these boards and google, you'll come across many, many beginners guides to linux.
You should also check out the commands "apropos" and "info".
Yes, such a page don't exist. You can try man -k some_keyword also to search everything related to........ some keyword
Or you can use some GUI help software like gnome-help (but i'm not sure if this is the right program name) that show you all the man pages on your system. You can find all those pages in /usr/man (or /usr/share/man), /usr/local/man (or /usr/local/share/man), /usr/X11R6/man (or /usr/X11R6/share/man),.....
Actually, if you've got a GUI, 'xman' presents every section of commands on a page each (about 8 pages but most essential user commands on the first one) and there are webpages around that have (almost) all the man pages/Linux commands listed.
