Question why a hidden Bluetooth device or hci0 had a priority value of -20?

Hello
Last month i noticed an unusual activity in monitoring system processes and then i tried to find out what was up!
A process named hci0 had a priority value of -20 and this seemed unusual and abnormal so i started working on that
At first i did not know that hci0 is a symbolic software for Bluetooth device until i searched the name by Google , but i Knew some other things about unusual situation :
-most software had a priority of medium normal value
-i could not lower the priority of this process even when i tried to do that as root! the output was no such file or directory!
-during the last 1-2 years the Bluetooth device was not working as usual since there was no icon in the system try showing it's availability as it was before
pulling out the Bluetooth device the process hci0 disappeared and searching by Google i found out what hci0 has been
Now my question is that :
Has my Bluetooth device been remotely abused by someone else? if not why a highest priority value was dedicated to that? and why hidden? is this logical that a device which was not used by me had the highest priority?
I pulled off my Webcam too , because in recent years it was considered as unknown device by my Operating System while i think it was somehow active
Thanks for your attention

'Unknown device' usually means your kernel cannot read it. For the webcam,
modprobe uvcvideo
gets a lot of them going these days.

For the bluetooth

hci0 is like eth0 and wlan0 - it's unique to kernel & userspace. There is no device file involved. don't ask me, but it works.

i do not know yet that what would be the consequence , but The webcam was not unknown in previous versions of my OS
I possibly will insert the Bluetooth device again

It means the format of your config file is outmoded. I don't know your distro, but this command
Code:
ls /usr/bin/system-config*
often lists handy setup utilities which allow one to write a new config file or set up a device without actually knowing what you are doing.

Beware also that hci devices, like others, are numbered in the order they are assigned in. This box has hci0, but it's part of the wifi chip and is a bluetooth interface which I have paired with my phone in times past.

If you are 'plugging in' a device, and if you have a wifi/bluetooth contraption, you are likely to be looking for hci1, not hci0.

Compulsory kit for this stuff is hcitools; bluezd; obexftp for file transfer. Install those. Then
Code:
hcitool scan
should show your bluetooth devices that the kernel sees.

Hi
my distro is : Mandriva 2012

These are related existing files in /usr/bin/ :
-blutooth-applet
-bluetooth-sendto
-bluetooth-wizard
-bluez pin
-hcitool type: shared library
........................................................
entered commands :
//urpmi bluezd
no package named bluezd
//urpmi obexftp
package gvfs-obexftp-1.12.3-mdv2012.0.i586 is already installed...etc
//urpmi hcitools
no package named hcitools

I also had paired my computer with my mobile phone in the past to be able to use mobile internet when bluetooth was working normally
Recently i used bluetooth-wizard to scan for new devices
I also had made my computer undiscoverable/invisible by other buetooth devices
................................
finally i entered :
//hcitool scan
output was just :
searching...

So , it seems that my bluetooth is working but hidden and with a very high priority!
Regards
