Whick Desktop Environment best follows K.I.S.S. without compromising on features?

Well, hi all. I just installed Arch Linux, and then GNOME. But now I am regretiing the GNOME decision for one main reason; it works against the idea of K.I.S.S. and technical transperancy.

But, I do like having a fully-featured GUI DE.

So, which Desktop Environment best follows the K.I.S.S. philosophy, without compromising on features?

All opinions welcome, and maybe even a screenshot :)

I like XFCE and Enlightenment. Give those a shot and see what you think.

enlightenment is a good choice...either e16 or 17 (I prefer 17)
you also have fluxbox, openbox, blackbox, fvwm, etc... depending on how simple you're aiming for

here's my e17 screenshot: http://mrchilly.net/index.php?q=img_assist/popup/12
and here's my fluxbox: http://mrchilly.net/?q=node/14

my other question would be: by k.i.s.s. are you wanting windows like? For some that is simple...if that's the case..you want kde

No... The Arch Way sort of K.I.S.S.

Windows is the worst of all!
