If you want to talk about KDE or GNOME, what about integration? What possibilities are there to make KDE apps look a little more integrated with GNOME and vice versa?

Have you tried the search button?
I typed in KDE or Gnome on the search thing, and all I got were random thread names ranging from Suse to Hardware Configurations.
I perfer Fluxbox actually. It's basically a suped up version of the old blackbox. Pretty configurable, has a nice stable and simple layout, supports themes, tabs, slits, task bar, and works with almost all apps (concerning gnome and kde) if you have the libraries for them installed. Little tough to setup at first for a newbie because all the configuration is config file based, but the window manager it's self is very easy to use. The thing I like about it though, is that it's VERY fast in comparison to most other window managers, especially desktop envionments, because its so lean and lightweight, theres not alotta bulk that it carries around doing fancy stuff, meaning it wastes less processor power and memory on the gui, and leaves more for your programs to perform optimally.

Plz, don't try to be a smart *ss, I am here on LQ for quite a while and have seen many threads that go on about KDE vs. GNOME. So I am quite sure you'll find some, if you just look for a minute.
Just try all the GUI's and use whichever you like. Also take a look at previous discussions because this topic has been discussed in great detail in the past.
I don't think he's listening. 5 out of 10 posts here already tells him that the KDE Vs. GNOME this has already being discussed here and there is actually no need to start once again over the same issue.
