Linux mint for me I switch to Winblows for a game of two now and then maybe once a month. not enough to dual boot the normal way. If I need windows I can hit F12, I just soon let my Linux load as fast as it can. 90% of my games are native Linux of work well under wine anyway so what’s the point to Dual boot.

windows is primary

well windows is my primary on laptop until i learn to use Linux, but will still keep Windows for expensive programs that Linux can not run. i have Linux on my desktop as it is a better computer than my laptop. eventually i want to get rid of windows as my main computer.

Cool Love Ubuntu

I wish I could say that I'll never use Windows again but I keep trying new thing and Opps! keep happening like that ROTATING CUBE THING, I'm still learning. If i ever figure out how to mount things I'd be happy, or correctly install a download? and the learning list continues.

Which Desktop Operating System Do You Consider Your Primary?

I voted Widows because I have to use Windows 10 for work. At home is Ubuntu Linux. I run it on a much less powerful laptop and it's faster!

At home it's Slackware. At work it's Windows, but I manage a group of servers running CentOS, so it's not all bad.

I doubt it is the 32 vs 64 that is the problem.
I run software on mine that is both; in fact many programs that you will be running will be 32 bit ones since many writers will not produce both versions.

I missed this. There are possibly cases where this is true but for the main part it is absolutely false. In fact, when Windows 8 was installed it was a condition of having "Made For Windows" stickers that the UEFI/BIOS allowed another OS to be installed. There are many, many, sites on the internet showing how to install Linux on a machine with UEFI and some even with "Secure Boot" still enabled.
If you have an example of a machine on which Linux cannot be installed please share it as it is important to let people know what not to buy.
