Which browser do you use most when posting on LQ? If anyone uses something I haven't put in the poll, let me know, I think I can add to it.
Well, actually it looks like I can't edit the poll. Only the moderators can. So if you want it edited, ask one of them to please. I was going to change from dillo, to IE (for those who post from within Winblows). Oh well, I guess those people would choose WINE.
As acid stated, this has been asked before, but I will still say Opera is my favorite. It has not ever crashed, and flash animations and Java plugins work great.
When my DSL up I am using galeon, and while it is down I have to use dial-up and Opera works fine for me, occasionaly I am using lynx, but not that much cause I believe command line tools grate for administration and configuration of my system, and when it comes to browsing GUI's what I'd like to stare at during such times.
I use Lynx most of the time (i quite live in the console.).
Eventually, I run Netscape to check how my (ugly!) HTML looks in a GUI. I tried Dillo. It's a great growing child. When it reaches adolescence, maybe I'll use everyday
i have recently tried offbyone for windows, weird, and not too intuitive.
Back to the question though, i like opera the best even if it is closed source (bleh!) mozilla should put in some of the neater features of opera instead of all that crappy netscape navigator stuff.
On the odd occasion (mostly holidays) when I'm at home and can actually use the internet on my machine, I use konqueror/mozilla equally. Unfortunately, only around 10 of my posts have ever been done in this manner, so I guess I should say that I use IE natively on an NT box (Uni) since I'm not allowed into the Comms Lab where they have the SuSE boxen. Hey, ho.
For me at home Konqueror and Mozilla more or less equally. And IE at work on an NT system (which is the worst that you can think of! IE not NT, when you type in a search criteria for instance, you can go and have a coffee before the machine reacts!!)
