i just install RH9 and i am wondering where pico is. I install rh9 as a server install so i am guessing its just missing a RPM. what RPM would i need to install to get pico back thanks.
it's part of pine. you might prefer to try nano, which is an exact pico clone with a few additional features, and of course it's own package, rather than actually beign a bolt on to a mail program

i know i should be able to figure out what your talking about but i cant. What are them 2 packages under? ServerConfiguration Tools, development tools?
I was very disconcerted also that Pico was gone, it was my favorite text editor - it was a stupid move by RH9 to not include it. Like already said, Nano is pretty good and is very similar to pico, you will probably like it just the same. However; it would have been easier had they just kept it.
erm hello... maybe somethings lost in the transalation.... pico, the text editor, is part of the pine, the email client. it does not have a package in it's own right. Pine is included in redhat 9, thus pico *IS* in redhat 9.
