Where can I find a downloadable matlab documentation pack

I always use matlab in a terminal window on Debian Linux to avoid sluggish and buggy java virtual machine. But I found what really bother me is how to look up documentation conveniently since the default documentation coming with matlab can only be opened by java.

I know Mathworks has an extensive documentation online which is also I primarily used. But the website is not designed well and slow to load. I wonder if there is someway to download all the documentations so I can browse them offline. Thank you very much!

You can download most of the manuals in PDF from the Mathworks site. Also, don't forget the helpwin command to quickly browse through the matlab help (it works without jvm as well).
