Where can I download Linux XP Desktop?

I saw this picture of a distro, and was amazed at how much it looked like XP! I want an ISO of it just to mess around with, but I can't find ANY ISO files of this exact distro pictured. If somebody can find it, I would be so happy! Thanks.

Last version of the theme i could find is xpde-0.5.1.tar.gz

This ISO distro "LinuxXP" was discontinued in 2009.

What version of Linux would I need to use this XPDE theme?

I've seen linux XP back in the day, but you needed to buy it to use it. So I didn't get it.

I do notice a pattern of distros that require you to pay for it, they ended up discontinued. For example
lycoris, linux XP. Linspire formerly Lindows, and Xendros desktop. There may be more, but these are what I can remember.

Not sure. So I downloaded the tar.gz and read the install instructions. Extracted tar.gz as root into /usr/share

Then edited ~/.xinitrc like it said to do. Hit Ctl+Alt+F1. Logged in. Used startx. There is was.
Did this Test in my AntiX testing install where I use Icewm window manager.
It made a hidden folder in ~/.home/my user name that was named .registry

Nothing worked on menu or Desktop Icons though. Not sure if a reboot was required or not.
I do not like it.
So I destroyed it instead of trouble shooting any further.

Anybody else is welcome to test this out. Install instructions in the text file named "install" are pretty simple.

Did everything display properly? Or did it look glitched? Also, I will try and do this, but I am very new to Linux.

don't waste ur time by installing additional packages. I'm not a fan of ubuntu and it's descendants but if you want look and feel of windows 7, xp, 2000 and even Mac os you can download and install Zorin. by Zorin look changer you can choose every theme you want. Also it has a special forum in LQ, where you can ask ur questions.

The latest build says 2014. That is better than xpde or XP which development has been dormant for years.

I may be wrong (I've never used Windows!) but they used to say the old versions of KDE were close to Windows in appearance and the successor to those is Trinity

Zorin OS claims to have a Windows-like GUI. I see that rokytnji avoids it, but it seemed OK when I last tried it.

FVWM can be configured to look much like WinXP.

I used FVWM on Debian a while ago, but I ended up going back to Fluxbox. FVWM is quite serviceable, but it's kind of clunky to configure. It's still included as one of the available DEs/WMs in a full install of Slackware.

A web search for "FVWM Windows XP" will turn up a number of useful (and useless) links.

As I said, personally I don't like Zorin. but Ubuntu ecosystem is still the best choice for newbie users who want a familiar ready to use system for daily usage. There are also other innovative desktops like Pantheon (suitable for Mac users) and Depeen (for windows 8 users) which still don't exist in other distros.
React OS is still in beta stage and lacks enough stability for daily usage. also it's look and feel resembles windows 98 rather than XP.
