Can any one give me the links of web sites from where I can freely download game for Linux.

These will get you started. You'll need to find what's available for whichever distro you're using.

I'm essentially with Salpar Adise. You don't mention which distribution you're using, so it's quite difficult to give you specific, particular directions as to where to find them.

The quickest way to demo games and linux is use something like Ubuntu and search the repositories for precompiled packages.

There should be plenty of things to keep you entertained for about a week. However, there are not many 3d linux games that kept me entertained very long. Alien Arena is probably the best looking and fun... as far as FPS goes.
