when i change root password ,it says:


[root@tgsd ~]#passwd
New password:
Retype new passwd:
RPC:Can't encode arguments
The password has not been changed on rhea.
passwd:Failed preliminary check by password service
[root@tgsd ~]#

I have NIS server rhea and a Linux tgsd .

I try to change the root password in tgsd .
However, it looks it try to change the root password in rhea.
