whats initrdxxx.img ?


can ne one tell me what this intird****.img is?

This is a file which contains some expecial things about the scsi and some other device . So if you have install a new kernel , or you have add a new device etc, it's good for you to mkinitrd ;

For more informations, you should do this:
man mkinitrd
