what's the difference b/w linux process,daemons and scripts

If you take a look at the LQ Glossary: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/glossary.php
We have daemon and process defined there.

And a script is a file that is read and performs certain tasks defined in the script, like starting daemons and services. Well, that is how I would define it anyways.
