What online help platforms does Linux support (i.e. Cross Platform HTML)?

I'm an online help developer and need to develop an online help for a client who has a Linux OS. Is cross-platform HTML help (i.e. compatible with UNIX & Windows, and Internet Explorer & Netscape) also compatible with Linux? (Typically for help files I use a help authoring tool, Forehelp or Robohelp, which also generate toc and search panes, based on java script files. Would these be compatible?) Is JAVA help (as supported by JAVA browsers) also compatible with Linux systems?

TIA.
