Hi...

My favorite of all time was Ubuntu 10.04. Currently, I don't really have one, even though I use Lubuntu on one of my systems.

Slackware or SalixOS with Fluxbox or Icewm. You left out alot of distros.

Good hardware support out of the box, and it strikes the right balance between untested alpha vs rock-solid-but-doesn't-support-anything-from-this-decade software for me (eg: Fedora vs RHEL/CentOS).

Slackware, followed by Debian, then Mageia, then Mint.
